'FPRS' stands for Ford Performance Racing School, home of GT350 Track Attack

Are there automatic transmission cars?

All GT350 Mustangs used in the program will be manual transmission only. This is also true for any optional add-on programs that may use our FPRS Mustang GT and Boss 302FRS cars. Participants must be proficient and show competency in driving a manual transmission.


Are travel and accommodations included?

No.

Can I bring a guest?

Yes, you may bring a paying Guest.

During your registration, you may purchase a Guest seat for the "Non-driving Guest Experience" or for the "Driving Guest."

Non-Driving Guest Experience // +$179

Each GT350 owner has the option to bring one non-driving guest. Your guest can join you at the reception dinner, sit in on all classroom instruction, watch the on-track excitement, and experience the adrenaline rush of demo laps in the passenger seat of a GT350 with a professional driver at the controls.

Driving Guest // FPRS Mustang GT $1,595 (or Boss 302FRS on optional Day 2, $1,895)

Each GT350 owner has the option to bring one driving guest who participates in all the same GT350 Track Attack activities. On select dates an optional Day 2 of performance driving is available. You may bring a Driving Guest to this day as well.

The Driving Guest Experience Features:

  • On-Track Sessions with Instruction
  • Experience the World-Class Track at Utah Motorsports Campus

If you selected not to bring a Guest to the Welcome Reception / Day 1 [referred to as the 'Non-Driving Guest Experience', or 'Driving Guest'] during your registration, you clearly understand that you are not allowed to bring any guest to the evening reception, or to the next day's activities — which includes classroom sessions, on-track experience and meals — at the racetrack.

Please note: all participants and guests will be required to sign track waivers.

 If you purchase a Non-Driving Guest Experience your guest does not drive the GT350, FPRS Mustang GT, or Boss 302FRS cars.

Can I purchase a second driving day?

Yes.

On select dates, you can upgrade to an optional second day of Performance Driving for a real taste of what the Ford Performance Racing School has to offer. Based on our one-day school, this full day program begins with a detailed vehicle-dynamics classroom session that teaches the fundamentals of racing. Next you'll hit the race track for on-track instruction with a mid-day break and premium catered lunch. You’ll end the day with a solo drive on our world-class track.

The Performance Driving Day 2 Upgrade Features:

  • Drive a performance-prepped 2015 FPRSMustang GT, or upgrade to a Boss 320FRS Mustang, on a world renowned racetrack

Do I need to bring my own car?

No.

We provide the GT350 cars for the course on Day 1. One select dates FPRS also offers a second driving day in either a FPRS Mustang GT or Boss 320FRS


Do you provide helmets & racing suits?

We do provide helmets for the course but participants are welcome to bring their own if it is rated Snell SA 2010 or newer. We also provide one layer driving suits.


How much time is spent in classroom vs. track?

Participants will spend roughly 20% of the time inside in the classroom, including lunch. The remaining 80% of the day is spent behind the wheel. These times are approximate and may vary slightly.


If I miss the welcome reception, can I still attend class the next day?

Yes, if you miss the evening Welcome Reception you may still attend the On-Track Day One starting the next morning at 8:00am. Please arrive no later than 7:45am to check-in at the Welcome Center.


Is there a dress standard for the Welcome Reception?

The dress standard for the Welcome Reception and GT 350 Track Attack is casual.

Is there an age requirement for Demo Laps?

Yes. The minimum age requirement is fourteen+ (14+) years to ride along on a demo lap.


Is there an age requirement to take the course?

Participants must be at least 16 to participate in any activity on the race track and possess a current, valid driver’s license. Drivers under 18 will need to have a parental consent form signed on-site. The minimum age requirement is fourteen+ (14+) years to ride along on a hot lap.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests received more than 31 days prior to your event will receive a 90% refund on GT350 Track Attack [GT350-TA] upgrades.

Reschedule Policy

Reschedule requests received more than 31 days prior to your event will receive a one-time credit toward attendance at a future GT350-TA as long as the date falls within 12 months of the Gt350 delivery date. A $150 rescheduling fee will be charged. If a guest experience and/or a 2nd day option has been purchased, an additional rescheduling fee of 10% will be charged.

No refund or credit toward a future program will be offered if a cancellation or request to reschedule occurs less than 31 days prior to your event. Failure to appear will result in forfeiture of all event fees and the ability to attend future GT350 Track Attack programs.

Cancellation and reschedule requests must be made by calling GT350 Track Attack Client Service Representative Jill Sato: 435-277-8021, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm MST.

Weather Policy

The Ford Performance Racing School [FPRS] is an all-weather facility. If extreme weather conditions prevent FPRS from safely executing the Event, every effort will be made to reschedule the Event. FPRS reserves the sole right in determining whether an Event will be cancelled due to dangerous weather conditions. In such case, FPRS will retain and apply Client's deposit to the rescheduled Event. If the Event is cancelled due to weather and a mutually-agreeable date cannot be determined, FPRS will refund the entire deposit.


Commuications and Privacy

By registering for schools and driving experiences you agree to receive email and print communications from the Ford Performance Racing School (The McKeever Group LLC) both related to this registration and related to future sales, marketing and informational communications. All correspondence, schools, and courses will be communicated in the English language. You also agree to the Legal/Privacy policy as seen on this webpage.


What is my liability?

Option to Limit Liability

GT350 owners can purchase a day-one property damage waiver for $150. It limits liability to $5,000.00 for damage to the GT350. Driving guests can purchase a waiver for $125 for day one. It limits liability to $5,000.00 for damage to the guest-driven 2015 FPRS Mustang GT.

Without the limited liability, students assume financial responsibility up to full replacement value of the vehicle.

For day-two upgrades, fee for the 2015 FPRS Mustang GT is $125 and the fee for the Boss 302FRS is $150 (plus applicable sales tax).


GT350 Track Attack Event Waiver/Liability:

POLICIES

1. PARTICIPANT AGREES TO ASSUME FULL FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY UP TO THE LIMIT AGREED FOR PROPERTY DAMAGE. PARTICIPANT ALSO AGREES TO FULL FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE EVENT(S) WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF PARTICIPANT OR OTHERWISE. ONLY PARTICIPANT NAMED ABOVE IS AUTHORIZED TO DRIVE THE ASSIGNED CAR.

2. IF THE CAR SUFFERS MECHANICAL FAILURE, FORD PERFORMANCE RACING SCHOOL WILL PROVIDE, TO THE BEST OF THEIR ABILITIES, A BACK UP CAR.

3. AT ANY TIME, AND IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION, FORD PERFORMANCE RACING SCHOOL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REMOVE THE DRIVER FROM THE RACE CAR FOR ANY REASON. THE FORD PERFORMANCE RACING SCHOOL ALSO RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DECIDE WHETHER OR NOT TO PROVIDE AN ADDITIONAL CAR AS BACK-UP, RESULTING FROM ASSIGNED VEHICLE BEING DAMAGED. ANY ADDITIONAL VEHICLE ASSIGNED WILL REQUIRE AN ADDITIONAL LIMITED LIABILITY FEE, IF OPTION IS SELECTED, OTHERWISE,PARTICIPANT WILL BE FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE NEWLY ASSIGNED VEHICLE. REFUNDS WILL BE AT THE DISCRETION OF THE FORD PERFORMANCE RACING SCHOOL.

VEHICLE DAMAGE WAIVER:

In consideration for Utah Motorsports Campus and the Ford Performance Racing School (Collectively known as UMC/FPRS) to agree to allow Participant to drive, practice, qualify and/or race in its vehicle and on its track, Participant agrees to hold harmless, indemnify and defend UMC/FPRS against any and all claims, demands, actions (including attorney's fees and costs) liability, losses, damages, injuries (including, without limitation death and dismemberment) and accidents of whatever kind resulting in any way from participating in events at UMC/FPRS. Participant further understands and agrees that he/she assumes full financial responsibility up to full replacement value of the Ford Performance Racing School vehicle assigned to Participant (as described below) for any and all damage Participant does to the vehicle. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Participant may elect (where designated herein) a property damage waiver option and pay an additional fee to limit his/her financial responsibility to Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) for damage done to the vehicle.

What is the daily schedule of activities?

  • Classroom and video session (approximately 30 minutes)
  • Skid car exercises
  • Heel/Toe exercises
  • Classroom - Vehicle Performance
  • On Track lead-and-follow session (you follow the instructor)
  • On Track instructor ride-along (instructor rides as passenger)
  • On Track (Final track session)
  • On Track demo laps (you ride as passenger with instructor driving)

What is Your Weather Policy?

Weather Policy

The Ford Performance Racing School is an all-weather facility. What should I wear?

Comfortable, seasonal attire is recommended. We also recommend you wear soft-soled shoes, such as driving or tennis shoes. No open-toed shoes are allowed when driving.


When does class start and end each day?

GT350 Track Attack begins with the evening Reception dinner at 6:00 pm, MST, (check in 5:30-6:00pm MST) in the Ford Performance Racing School Welcome Center.

The Reception is followed by your On-Track Driving Day One starting the next morning at 8:00am, MST (check in 7:30am MST) at the Ford Performance Racing School Welcome Center.

If you purchased an optional Performance Driving Day 2 Upgrade this second on-track day starts at 9:00am MST (check in 8:30am MST) at the Ford Performance Racing School Welcome Center.


When does the Welcome Reception start?

GT350 Track Attack begins with an evening Reception dinner at 6:00 pm, MST, (check in 5:30-6:00pm MST) in the Ford Performance Racing School Welcome Center. The Reception takes place the evening before your on-track driving day.


Where do I check in at FPRS?

After parking, you will check in at the Ford Performance Racing School Welcome Center – the building on your left/south at the main security gate.


Where do I park at FPRS?

Turning into Ford Performance Racing School, look for and follow the signs to park in the Performance Schools parking lot (first parking lot on your left/south side inside the main gate – before the Ford Performance Racing School Welcome Center building.

The Ford Performance Racing School is about 30 minutes west of the Salt Lake City International Airport. The Salt Lake airport is the nation's main Delta hub so flights are readily available.


Which airport is most convenient to the School?

Salt Lake International Airport (SLC) is 30 minutes to Ford Performance Racing School, door to door.

Who is eligible to attend?

Eligibility to attend GT350 Track Attack:

Anyone who purchased and took delivery of a qualifying GT350 will have one calendar year from the date of delivery to register and attend a GT350 Track Attack program.

Vehicle ownership is verified by VIN number. Only one owner/eligible participant per vehicle/VIN number is eligible to attend.

List of eligible participants who can attend GT350 Track Attack in place of the buyer:

Members of the immediate family of the buyer. "Immediate family" means the following relatives of the buyer:

  • Parents
